IT Applications Administrator

About the role

The IT Applications Administrator reports to the IT manager and is responsible for being the technology facilitator to the business where you will design, operate or maintain technology across the organisation. A key part of your role will be to understand business requirements to undertake improvements to our existing systems, advising stakeholders of best practice, whilst balancing business requirements within technical constraints.

Key tasks include:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on technical organisational needs
  • Configuration and support services for:
    • SharePoint Online, including development and administration.
    • Office 365 administration including SharePoint, Power BI and MS Dynamics 365 Customer Service (removed Teams and Exchange)
    • Genesys Cloud omnichannel solution
  • Work with stakeholders on business requirements, translating them into technical specifications (including estimates) for delivery
  • Make changes to our core systems adhering to our change control and software development lifecycle processes
  • Provide support for our core systems, including identifying and resolving defects, delivering on service requests and structured system maintenance
  • Conduct knowledge transfer of business logic and technical information to team members to ensure a high-quality product is delivered that meets business requirements
  • Provide thorough unit-testing of deliverables and refactoring to ensure software efficiency and data integrity of systems
  • Work with software vendors to support technical implementations

What you bring to the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or relevant field
  • CRM experience essential, along with exceptional stakeholder management abilities
  • Preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals certified
  • Demonstrable experience of working with others to identify business requirements
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle management
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain business knowledge
  • Ability to work and communicate with people from a broad range of backgrounds and varying levels of technical ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The right to work unrestricted in Australia
  • Working with Children Check (or willing to apply for one)
